During the summer of 2009 a very good friend of mine told me that Modo (from Luxology) finally had embedded animation tools.
He was modelling a Mech, so he prepared me a quick rig and I made a very (veery) short animation of the Mech booting up.
Everything was done in Modo in a few days.
The test was realized for Forge11 (a regrettably deceased Italian videogame company, which was at the time a fresh and promising startup). The videogame in which this mech was supposed to star never saw the light, unfortunately, but here goes the mech itself.
I took care of Animation and Sound Design, helped in the latter by my brother Francesco Beretta.
Massimiliano Bottega took care of Modelling and Rigging, while the original Mech design is by Alessandro Bragalini.
